The Hamilton County Libraries Maker Rally, February – April 2026, encourages you to visit three different libraries, do an activity, and collect a stamp! Your final result will be your own little wooden toy!

Ignite Studio has opened a call for art for our annual exhibit, “The 700 Collection.” We are seeking art in a variety of mediums for this juried group exhibit with cash awards for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place.

When Hamilton County was first settled, most farmers were concerned with feeding their own families. After a few years though, they began to produce a surplus and began looking for markets.

As a high school student, I’m an avid reader and love any book or movie that gets me in the holiday spirit. Growing up, my family always celebrated Thanksgiving big.

The most significant trial of the Hamilton County Courthouse was the 1925 murder trial of D. C. Stephenson, Grand Dragon of the KKK, that took place 100 years ago this November.
