Are you looking to boost your tech skills? Look no further than our computer and technology programs at Hamilton East Public Library! Whether you are just beginning your journey or looking to refine your expertise, we have something for everyone!
We offer Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint classes designed to introduce everyone to the basics and practice creating together. Word and Excel classes have two parts, so be sure to register for both! We cover a lot of information and by the end of the second session, so you should feel more comfortable navigating these programs!
We have classes for those new to computers including Introduction to Computers, Save It/Find It, and Introduction to Windows 11. These classes are designed to cover the basics and get you comfortable with using a computer. Save It/Find It is great for those who want to learn more about organizing documents on computers.
Are you looking for a job or seeking a way to elevate your professional game? Check out our classes that cover LinkedIn. LinkedIn is a social media platform for networking and finding jobs. Learn how to set up a profile and navigate this platform in our LinkedIn basics class! We also offer Online Job Searching and How to Create a Resume with Google Drive.
One last program I wanted to highlight is Tech Tuesday. Tech Tuesday happens once a month at both locations. Bring your device for hands-on assistance with a librarian. We can provide basic device troubleshooting, assistance for library apps such as Hoopla or Libby, and help with researching device questions
