Hamilton East Public Library is seeking artist exhibitors for an Artist Alley within our third annual LibraryCon!. LibraryCon! is a con-style event celebrating all things fandom and geeky goodness. This year’s event is Saturday, November 14 from 11 AM – 3 PM at the Fishers library branch located at 5 Municipal Drive, Fishers, IN 46038.
Exhibitors in the Artist Alley will have the opportunity to sell handmade merchandise and connect with patrons visiting the library for LibraryCon!, while numerous other activities, including workshops, concerts, exhibits, and more, occur. Plan for many visitors to your table! We are seeking artists with a focus on typical con-related merchandise. Comic books, pop culture, fandom content is wanted! Other artists will also be considered, especially if your work relates to equipment/materials available in Ignite Studio. See last year’s album here. Local vendors preferred.

Eligibility
- All content must be appropriate for viewing by general audiences – the library is an all-ages space. We reserve the right to make final decisions on vendor acceptance based on merch content.
- There is no booth fee or application fee.
- The event runs from 11 AM – 3 PM on Saturday, November 14. Artists must be available from 10 AM – 4 PM for set-up and teardown. Booths must be prepared by the time the event begins. Early teardown will negatively impact your participation in future events.
- Artists must be present or have someone available to staff their booth for the entire duration of the event, no exceptions.
- All sales are to be made independently between the artist and their customer. HEPL will not participate in or facilitate any sales. There are no commission fees.
- Repeat LibraryCon! vendors are welcome to apply, however, we may prioritize those who have not vended with us before to create a new and engaging experience for Con-goers every year.
One table and two chairs will be available for each vendor. Table coverings and other furnishings must be supplied by the artist. Public WiFi is available; electricity can be requested but might not be able to be accommodated. There is limited capacity for vendors in our Artist Alley, so please check your email and junk mail to respond to any acceptance emails.
Some artists may be asked to be on a waitlist, in which case you may be notified of availability as late as 24 hours before the event.
