The Art of Found Object Costuming
January 18, 6 pm – 7 pm
Ignite Classroom

Comic books and cosplay are like peanut butter and jelly. Learn how to cosplay on a budget. It’s a common dilemma: you want to cosplay, but you don’t have much cash. Or, you don’t have access to a sewing machine and wouldn’t know what to do with it if you did. We’ll show you costumes made for less than $10, plus discuss character selection, the process of deconstructing a costume, and how to build a complete costume out of things you have around the house. Registration required.

Unconventional Comics
January 19, 6:30 pm – 7:30 pm

Think outside of the panel as you gear up for Comic Book in a Day 2023. Once you’ve learned the rules, half the fun is breaking them. Join us for a look at some unconventional comic books and their creators and find inspiration for your next comic creation. Registration begins two weeks prior to class. Ages 8 and up.
