Teen Writing Challenge: Historical Fiction/Fantasy

Historical Fiction/Fantasy Teen Writing Challenge

The theme for HEPL’s 10th Teen Writing Challenge is Historical Fiction or Historical Fantasy! Teen writers are challenged to write a complete short story with a historical setting.

Stories must be set in our world during a time before the 2000s. You could keep it as accurate to the time period as possible or add some magical and supernatural elements! Your story could be about a soldier in World War II, a witch during the Salem Witch Trials, or a minotaur in Ancient Greece. It is up to you to decide how to tackle your historical short story.
