Join the HEPL community of readers by enrolling in the Color Our World Summer Reading Program! Read and keep an online log during June and July to participate. Registration begins May 5. Sign up on Beanstack or by downloading the Beanstack app.
Enroll in the Summer Reading Program through your Beanstack account with HEPL. If you are new to Beanstack, take a minute to create an account for yourself and the readers in your household. Reading and activities logged between June 1 and July 31, 2025 will count toward the program.
Points are Back!
Once you have enrolled, start reading or exploring our activities to earn points! You can earn points by logging books, pages, or minutes and completing activities. Earn 100 points to complete the program. To make things easier, pick one log type at the start of the program (for example, minutes) and log all your reading with that type throughout the entire program. See how many points you can earn with each log type below!
- 1 Book = 2 points
- 20 Pages = 2 points
- 20 Minutes = 2 points
- Variety of Activities = Can be worth 1, 2 or 10 points

Prizes for every age category are tied to points badges at 25, 50, 75, and 100 points. For Children and Teens, participants will earn a FREE book when they complete the program. All age categories will earn e-tickets and/or prizes along the way. Keep reading and all ages can earn an e-ticket for every 25 points past 100 up to 300 points.

Activity points are back again! Get more involved this summer by earning points to complete the program. Different activities will earn you different amounts of points. Some examples include attending a library program, visiting us at outreach events, and even participating in fun activities from home! Participants can click on activity badges in their age level program to learn more.
The grand finale prize drawings for each age group will be held at the end of the program and winners will be notified by email. Participants have until August 7 to enter their age specific raffles.
Summer Reading Kickoff Celebration! | All Ages
Join us for an outdoor party with food, a dance party, yard games, and activities for all ages! In the event of rain, we will move the party inside!
