We’re excited to share that both our Fishers and Noblesville Libraries will soon begin a series of small renovation projects designed to enhance your library experience. These updates focus on improving spaces for families, updating service points for a smoother visit, and adding clear wayfinding signage to help you navigate the buildings more easily.
Fishers Library
To minimize disruption, renovations at the Fishers Library will take place in phases from November 2025 through April 2026.
Phase 1: November 2025 – January 2026
Work will begin in the Kid’s Program Rooms and staff space. These updates will create more flexible, engaging environments for storytimes, crafts, and other youth programs, as well as improve workspace efficiency for staff who support these programs. During this time, youth programs will continue to take place in our public meeting rooms.

Phase 2: January – March 2026
Next, renovations will move to the Kid’s Play Area, Family Reading Zone, and Welcome Area. These updates are focused on making the youth department’s spaces more welcoming and comfortable for families—adding cozy seating, interactive play elements, and an improved layout.

Phase 3: March – April 2026
Finally, updates will be made to the main service points in the north and south lobbies, ensuring better visibility, accessibility, and service flow. New wayfinding signage will also be installed throughout the building to make it easier for visitors to find what they need.
Throughout this process, small areas of the building may be temporarily unavailable, but most library services will remain open and available. We’ll provide updates and signage to help direct you during each phase of the project.
Noblesville Library
The Noblesville Library will also see a refresh in January – February 2026, focusing on improving the main service point in the lobby and adding wayfinding signage to make navigation simpler and more intuitive.
