As the year draws to a close, many in our community turn their attention to celebrations and acts of giving. This year, the library will once again celebrate that generous spirit through our Season of Giving initiative, running from December 1 to January 11. Activities include library programs as well as donation drive partnerships with the Noblesville Township and Delaware Township trustee offices, Hamilton County Harvest Food Bank, and HamCo Love. Look for donation collection spots at both the Noblesville Library and the Fishers Library between December 1 to January 11.
Donation Drives
Socks, winter hats, and gloves
Support those in need in our community this season by donating new socks, winter hats, and mittens/gloves (in all sizes). Donated items from the Fishers Library will go to the Delaware Township Trustee’s office for distribution, and donated items from the Noblesville Library will go to the Noblesville Township Trustee’s office for distribution.
Non-perishable foods
This year HEPL is also proud to partner with the Hamilton County Harvest Food Bank. Your donations of shelf-stable and non-perishable food items can make a real difference for families facing food insecurity. Every can, box, and bag helps bring hope and nourishment to our neighbors.
Period care products
HamCo Love is a local organization striving to end period poverty in Hamilton County. Part of their mission is “to provide necessary period care products to Hamilton County, IN residents.” HEPL will be collecting items from HamCo Love’s wish lists. Wish lists are featured here: Target wish list, Amazon wish list, Walmart wish list. If you would like to donate directly to HamCo Love, they accept Venmo: @HamCoLove.
