Her entire family is more worried about her brother and she feels she is the only family member who is concerned about the victim’s family.
Enter the Chatham’s, a family who runs a pizza parlor and take care of their mother,” who has multiple sclerosis”. Here Sydney feels accepted and loved for who she is with no questions asked. This is also were Sydney meets a gentle, watchful, and protective, young man. Who makes Sydney feel like a normal human?
This novel explores many different themes, such as family, self-discovery, and change.
