Anime! K-pop! Books! Video games galore! What are you passionate about? Ignite Studio and HEPL are seeking submissions for our second “Random Fandom” exhibit, a group exhibit to celebrate LibraryCon! on November 15, 2025 from 11 AM – 3 PM. We are seeking fan art that depicts your favorite characters or scenes from your chosen media. Artists, we will take art depicting your favorite books, anime, movies, comics, manga, games, or any other fandom you can think of! Deadline is October 15.
This is an all-ages group exhibit that will be on display from November 14 – December 19, 2025. Accepted artists will be notified of artwork drop-off and pickup dates after the submission deadline. The library is an all-ages space and artwork must be appropriate for general audiences.
Entry & Eligibility
- We can only take 2D media that is prepared for hanging with a wire and d-ring hangers. All work MUST be wired for hanging BEFORE drop-off. No sawtooth hangers.
- Copies or edits of another artist’s work are not eligible for entry. Coloring pages are not an acceptable entry.
- NO AI GENERATED WORK. Art must be created by the submitting artist.
- Any work previously displayed at Ignite Studio is ineligible.
- Hanging work should not exceed 50 lbs.
- Exhibit is located in a public library visited by all ages. Artwork must be acceptable for all audiences, without nudity, profanity, or violence.
- Displayed artworks may be photographed for promotional work (social media, print materials, etc.).
- Artwork must remain on display for the entire duration of the exhibit regardless of if it is sold during the exhibit.
For this exhibit only, if you are an emerging artist (youth under 18 years old) who works primarily with digital art (i.e. on a tablet or computer), submit your highest resolution file, and we will print the art off for you. It will be yours to keep after the exhibit at no charge to you! Only one piece will be printed per artist, so choose wisely. Frames and wiring will still need to be provided by the emerging artist or the artwork will be displayed with clips.
Sales
All work is allowed to be listed for sale. Ignite Studio does not take commission or facilitate sales. By submitting your work you are giving Ignite Studio staff permission to provide your contact information to interested buyers. If your work is sold, it is the responsibility of the artist to inform Ignite staff so that we may mark it as SOLD for the duration of the show. Sold work MUST remain on display for the duration of the exhibit. It is the artist’s responsibility to arrange for delivery of the sold artwork to the client.
Submission Guidelines
Submit all required materials via email to [email protected] by October 15. Artists may submit up to 3 pieces. Acceptable formats include, but not limited to: Painting, drawings, fiber arts, photography, collage, digital art (must be printed and framed), etc. We can only accept 2D artwork for this exhibit.
Please submit at [email protected] by October 15 with the following information for EACH piece of artwork:
- Artist’s name
- Title
- Fandom/character depicted
- Dimensions of physical artwork
- 1 – 3 images of work (1 image per piece, up to 3 pieces)

- Media
Emerging Digital Artists (Youth under 18):
If you are youth under 18 who works primarily in digital media (i.e., drawing on a tablet or computer), please submit at [email protected] by October 15 with the following information for ONE piece of artwork:
- Artist’s name
- Title
- Fandom/character depicted
- Attach the HIGHEST RESOLUTION FILE you have of your art. 300 dpi is recommended minimum at a 3:2 ratio.
Display
Stop by and see the fan art exhibit “Random Fandom” on display November 14 – December 19 in the lobby gallery of the Fishers Library at 5 Municipal Dr, Fishers, IN 46038. There is no formal artists’ reception, but join us for our second annual LibraryCon! on Saturday, November 15 from 11 AM – 3 PM to participate in fandom-related activities, crafts, concerts, trivia, and so much more.
