Celebrate Independence Day with your kiddos this Fourth of July! Check out these books and digital materials that are available to you with your Hamilton East Public Library card. And, look below for a special craft you can do with the littles to decorate your house for the 4th!

BookFlix – Login with your library card and click Celebrations. Once there, children will be able to watch the story, The Star-Spangled Banner by Peter Spiers, read through the non-fiction title, The American Flag by Lisa Herrington, as well as do a word match to test their newfound knowledge!
Gale in Context: Elementary – Elementary-aged children can learn and develop their research skills through Gale’s In Context: Elementary database which allows them to search for articles, news stories, biographies, and images.
