Anime! K-pop! Books! Video games galore! What are you passionate about? Ignite Studio and HEPL are seeking submissions for our upcoming “Random Fandom” exhibit, a group exhibit to celebrate our first ever LibraryCon event on November 16, 2024. We are seeking fan art that depicts your favorite characters or scenes from your chosen media. Artists, we will take art depicting your favorite books, anime, movies, comics, manga, games or any other fandom you can think of! Deadline is September 25th.
This is an all-ages group exhibit that will be on display from October 18th 2024 – November 29th 2024. Digital and physical art media are both acceptable, but digital work but be printed off and ready to be hung. Artwork must be done by the submitting artist. Completed coloring pages are not acceptable work for this show. Artwork must remain on display for the entire duration of the exhibit. Accepted artists will be notified of artwork drop-off and pickup dates after the submission deadline. The library is an all-ages space and artwork must be appropriate for general audiences. Displayed artwork may be photographed for promotional work.
Entry & Eligibility
- Digital Artists – Artwork must have a physical print and be framed and wired for hanging. NO AI GENERATED WORK.

- If you are an emerging artist who works primarily with digital art, submit your highest resolution file and we will print the art off for you. It will be yours to keep after the exhibit at no charge to you! Only one piece will be printed per artist, so choose wisely. Frames and wiring will still need to be provided by the emerging artist. NO AI GENERATED WORK.
- Traditional Artists – Artwork must be framed and wired for hanging. No artwork over 70 lbs will be accepted. We can only accept 2D submissions at this time.
Sales
All work is allowed to be listed for sale. Ignite Studio does not take commission or facilitate sales. By submitting your work you are giving Ignite Studio staff permission to provide your contact information to interested buyers. If your work is sold, it is the responsibility of the artist to inform Ignite staff so that we may mark it as SOLD for the duration of the show. It is the artist’s responsibility to arrange for delivery of the sold artwork to the client.
Submission Guidelines
Submit all required materials via email to [email protected] by September 25th. Artists may submit up to 3 pieces. Acceptable formats include, but not limited to: Paintings, drawings, fiber arts, photography, collage, digital art, etc. We can only accept 2D artwork for this exhibit.

- Attach the HIGHEST RESOLUTION FILE you have of your art. 300 dpi is recommended minimum at a 3:2 ratio.
