Renovations at both the Fishers and Noblesville libraries are nearing completion, and we’re excited to share these beautiful spaces with our community. HEPL is preparing for the future by focusing on improving access and expanding possibilities in the use of our indoor and outdoor spaces. As we’re nearing the next phase in our renovations, we wanted to share some important updates.
Noblesville Library Updates
On Wednesday, February 14, 2024, we will be closing the main floor of the Noblesville Library for an extended period of time to begin the next project phase, which will include repainting and recarpeting. Closing the entire floor will ensure the project is completed sooner. HEPL is committed to supporting our patrons and will continue to keep many of our public services accessible during this time.
The lobby and everything on the hard surface floor will still be available, including holds and new books, as well as the Youth Services level, all of Fishers Library, and our online collection. And before long, the new Crossroads Discovery Center will be opening! The Youth Services entrance will still be open, along with the stairs and elevators.
Browsing in-person (adult/general collection & teen collection) and study rooms in Adult Services will be unavailable during this time.
What’s Available:
- Computers, printing, and copy services (these will move to the smaller meeting room in the lobby starting Sunday, February 11.)
- Online resources and databases
- Browsing our online collection on Overdrive, Hoopla, and Libby
- New books
- Friends of the Library bookstore
- Browsing our catalog online
- Placing holds for pickup
- Booking curbside appointments
- Youth Services floor
- Reservable meeting rooms
- Programs for all ages
- Interior & exterior book return
Our Fishers Library is open with full access to services, including a drive-up book return! Please also keep in mind that library card holders are eligible for reciprocal borrowing at any of the wonderful libraries in Hamilton County.
