Renovations at both the Fishers and Noblesville libraries have made significant progress over the past several months, and we’re excited to share the many updates with our community. HEPL is preparing for the future by focusing on improving access and expanding possibilities in the use of our indoor and outdoor spaces. When completed, Fishers and Noblesville residents will enjoy more pedestrian-friendly access and gathering spaces, additional parking, improved traffic flow, plus more experiential learning opportunities.
As we’re nearing a transition in this phase of our renovations, we wanted to share some important updates.
Fishers Library Youth Services Updates
On Monday, August 7, 2023, we will be closing the east wing (Youth Services) of the Fishers Library for an extended period of time as part of this next project phase, which will include repainting and recarpeting. Closing the entire wing will ensure the project is completed sooner. HEPL is committed to supporting our patrons and will continue to keep many of our public services accessible during this time.
Please note: during the Fishers Youth Services wing closure, youth programming will still take place as scheduled on our calendar of events. Please park on the east side of the building for direct access to meeting rooms.
Browsing in-person (youth collection), Youth computers, and study rooms in Youth Services will be unavailable during this time.
What’s Available:
- Browsing our catalog online and placing holds for pickup
- New Children’s books, movies, music, and more
- Browsing our online collection on Overdrive, Hoopla, Libby, and more

Fishers Library Public Services Department Updates
The west wing (Adult Services) of the Fishers Library has officially reopened. This means patrons can browse the General collection, use computers, and have tables available.
While a majority of the repainting and recarpeting is complete, there’s still some work to be done by contractors and various HEPL teams, but we’re excited to welcome you back into this space!
Parking at Fishers
Parking can be found in our parking lot, located on the north and east sides of the library. Parking lot access is on the north side of Municipal Drive, near Lantern Road.
