Renovations at both the Fishers and Noblesville libraries have made significant progress over the past several months, and we’re excited to share the many updates with our community. HEPL is preparing for the future by focusing on improving access and expanding possibilities in the use of our indoor and outdoor spaces. When completed, Fishers and Noblesville residents will enjoy more pedestrian-friendly access and gathering spaces, additional parking, improved traffic flow, plus more experiential learning opportunities.
As we’re nearing the conclusion of this phase in our renovations, we wanted to share some important updates.
Fishers Library Updates
On Monday, April 10, 2023, we will be closing the west wing (Adult Services) of the Fishers Library for an extended period of time to begin the next project phase, which will include repainting and recarpeting. Closing the entire wing will ensure the project is completed sooner. HEPL is committed to supporting our patrons and will continue to keep many of our public services accessible during this time.
Browsing in-person (adult/general collection), public computers, desktop printing, and study rooms in Adult Services will be unavailable during this time.

Noblesville Library Updates
In March 2023, we celebrated the reopening of the main library entrance. All visitors may now enter the library through the main lobby doors or through the Children’s entrance (accessible via stairs or ramp), and the temporary side entrance has closed. Along with expanded parking, our Curbside Pickup Service and book drop are still available in the South parking lot.
The Indiana Room has moved down to the Rotary Reading Room on the first floor of the Noblesville Library due to renovations for the Crossroads Discovery Center. Our staff and a limited collection are still here and available!
