As we prepare for Black History Month this February, we’ve partnered with the Noblesville Diversity Coalition on a curated booklist, with selections for all ages from a variety of genres! Many of these picks are also available as ebooks and audiobooks.
Also, join us for a special book study and food tasting, in partnership with the Noblesville Diversity Coalition, to celebrate Black History Month. Beginning January 15, stop by the reference desk at the Noblesville Branch to pick up a book study copy of Toni Tipton-Martin’s award-winning cookbook Jubilee: Recipes from Two Centuries of African American Cooking, while supplies last. Read the stories and explore the recipes in the cookbook to prepare for an afternoon of discussion, joy, and celebration through food on February 15. Registration is required, as space is limited. Be sure to register each person in your party.
